What is Hydrotherapy?

Hydrotherapy is a very broad term and can be applied on may levels, fundamentally it can be defined as any method that uses water to treat a variety of symptoms throughout your body.

Hydrotherapy can be as simple as taking a warm bath but in the hot tub industry we use it primarily as a term to describe the massage benefits of the jets within a hot tub.

Not all hot tubs jets are the same, for example our two main brands Jacuzzi® and Master Spas® have very different jetting systems that produce a very different feel. In general Master Spas® jets provide a more intensive massage experience, whereas Jacuzzi® delivers a softer hydro-massage due to their patented Aqualibrium® jet design which produces a high-flow, low-pressure massage sensation that feels like no other hot tub on the market.
