What is a Swim Spa?

Swim Spas work by creating a current of water which you swim against, so you stay still and the water moves underneath you. It’s basically the same principle as a treadmill for a runner. On all but the simplest models the speed of the current is adjustable to cater for different swimming abilities, so you can swim at your desired pace. However the maximum flow speed varies significantly from model to model, because of this it is important to choose a model that matches your swimming ability. The best way to do this is to come and have a test swim in our demo models.

We are able to offer you models from both Jacuzzi and Master Spas. This combination means we are able to cater for every requirement from the family fun swimmer to the expert athlete looking for the ultimate training workout. We also offer the Therapool range which is designed for those with limited mobility who would benefit from using the natural buoyancy of water to improve movement and ease pain.

Versatility really is the biggest advantage of a swim spa. Whether it’s teaching the children to swim, training for a PB or helping to improve mobility a swim spa is the perfect way to keep in shape from the comfort of your own home. There are of course great fun as well, and can be used by all the family all year round.
